Hi all Unfortunately I'm going to start this off with a sad note unfortunately we lost Elphie 1 of our guinea pigs at the start of the month which I was completely devastated about & so was Letti my other guinea pig But now as much as I am very much still upset over the loss of her we know we have to put our feelings aside for Letti's sake so we are rescuing 2 guinea pigs with the view to introduce them to each other & hope they all bond ok. Here's where I need advice as I've never bonded guinea pigs before I've read up loads & watched videos to try get clued up as much as I can. I'm looking for someones advice that's done this before first hand. I'd love to hear how things went for you. Also what first aid things did you have at hand? Thanks

So sad that you lost Elphaba bubbles87, she was lovely. I used to keep guinea pigs many years ago, they are gorgeous pets to have. When I used to introduce new ones I just used to put them in with the others and see how they get on - better, if you have a pen where you can watch them easily and have easy access if they have to be taken out quickly. I've always found guinea pigs get on with each other quite well. What colour are the new ones you are getting? I had one like your Lettie and she had 2 babies, both exactly the same as her. Good luck with the new ones.
