My toothless cat still eats dry food, Applaws at the moment, but we switch between brands each bag.

Dry or wet, I just don't think commercial food is really good for pets, I mean cats and dogs...just look to a number of complaints concerning www.pissedconsumer.com/browse-reviews/animal-feed.htmlIf you want your animal to be healthy, it is better to feed it raw or prepare home-made food for it. Think about that, dear pet owners!

Think about that, dear pet owners! Had a look at that site - yes there are complaints about some food, but they are mainly about the companies they are buying from. Not only that but they are all from the USA whilst the majority of the members of this forum are in the UK. However I do agree you need to look at the products you buy for your pets, giving them the best you can afford or have time to prepare.

anna I don't think you can say that about ALL cat foods on the market. As tonib says you just need to read whats in the products that you-re going to feed your cat.

Update: She is still on the Aldi wet food and probably will stay on it, but it looks pretty good, I'd sooner feed her that than royal canin. But I think she's having a bit of an upset tummy, from what I see in the litter tray :/ anna I don't mean to offend if I'm wrong, you but that post looked a little like spam. I hope I'm wrong as we've had quite a bit of that recently.
