So lets get a few questions asked on this thread, no matter how silly you feel asking. I still get in a muddle quoting more than 1 quote in a thread, doing it once is fine but....

Just found a nice facility to be able to quote multiple posts in a reply. Others may already be aware of it but just in case .... Using the option button against a post (the cog like button) the drop down menu gives the option to select postChoose that & repeat for the posts you want to quote in your reply. The select is carried over the pages of a multi page thread If you accidently chose the wrong post just click on the option again & it will now allow deslect Finally click on quote on the last post to be included & as usual the reply box will open but this time all the posts will be separately quoted. It will then be possible to insert your comments as you wish or even edit the quotes to leave just the relevant bits. I wish that had been possible on the old forum. I used to spent a fair amount of time cpying posts & inserting the quoting code around them when replying to a number of posts in a thread! In this instance taking a post from another thread and putting it on a different thread , you still do as above except when you go to a new thread , once in the reply box you Right Click and PASTE ( hope that makes sense ? ). But looks like that only works for a single quote, just tried to take 3 selected posts from 3 threads and it didn't work, you are probably wondering WHY would she want to bring in 3 quotes from 3 threads well I like to tax my brain a bit at times, hence the experiment

Ok scallywag, here's the links to the original posts on copying and quoting (slight distinction) posts, including any special formatting, between threads. It is possible to do more than one copy/quote into the new post but you'll need more browser tabs open. Do we need to clarify these before adding into the index? To copy:- yourpetforums.co.uk/post/26937To quote:- yourpetforums.co.uk/post/26936/thread

Sorry didn't make myself clear in my last post scallywag, or I'm misunderstanding you . I just do it by opening the threads to be copied/quoted in their own browser tabs/windows at the same time as the new post & then just repeat the copy/quote instructions for each thread to the new post. You can do it by just 2 tabs/windows by keeping the new post open & just reusing the 2nd one for each post you want to quote/copy. Hope that makes sense. You can only use the select post option for posts in the same thread as you're wanting to post in, whch was why those 2 helps were created.

Here.... This should help you see which link to copy using photobucket ...
you need to use the img (url) code
Once the pic has uploaded to photobucket-it will show in your photobucket library. Just click the image and wait for it to open then look for this box
Left click the arrowed box once and it highlits in yellow and says copied-come to the thread u want then right click and paste-hope this helps
