Thank goodness your jab is only just running out of date and you saw your doctor quickly smilesbetter or you could have been in bother.(I never use horse manure on my garden,as that can be very dangerous if you happen to get a scratch when gardening and are not up to date with your jabs). Hope all goes well meeting family, don't shake hands it may be painful, owwwch!Good luck.

Well Carlotta's poops definitely don't have blood in them, and they are very good raw poops actually, very small with no undigested food in them at all. They look incredibly healthy actually. But yeah, I'll ask the new vet if we should bring one on with her for her first appointment.
Meeting my mans family was fine, they all love cats and the kids absolutely adored Rosa (who was wonderfully behaved and they were even able to walk her on the lead a little in the park) so clearly they are wonderful people.
I had to get the first round of all my vaccinations yesterday, two jabs. They were okay but my arms really hurt if anyone touches the jab sites. My man went to cuddle up with me on the couch yesterday and almost got punched in the face haha. Just to keep ice on the hand now over a bandage, and another check up on Monday (signed off work till then, have to admit very happy about that!). Not feeling too bad today apart from my hand and arms all being sore if touched haha. Although annoyed at not being allowed to use my hand as there is very little to do without it. Everything I now have the time to do, I can't coz of my hand haha. I've gotten quite the pro at one handed gardening though!

Glad to hear you got on with your man's relatives, despite having such a sore hand. Oh vaccinations - my sympathies

Haha I have to get the second round of vaccinations next month as well, but apparently then that's them for life. I wish it was the same for pets! Maybe it is, hmm. I feel like I've been punched in one arm haha but the other one is fine now, they both felt a bit funny this morning though haha so I thought I was going to be walking around like a gorilla all day, thankfully not haha!

Oh, and Carlotta is doing great today, she has been out on the balcony (got a pic, will post tomorrow) and had a great day in the sun. She's really looking back to full health. She's an odd cat with her random bouts of illness and then being okay for a while. Hopefully this is her back to normal for a bit. I'm still going to take her to the vets next week though as she still needs the lump on her leg checked out and the possible swollen lymph nodes as they still look big.

Thanks! I think I keep having panic attacks actually, blood poisoning is really scary. Word to the wise - don't get bitten by a cat!
