So Vixen my cat who has a rare medical condition can only eat certain foods and definitely no chicken. Last year I switched her onto Hi-life which has been keeping her condition under control as well as her medication. Recently though the food has been littered with bones. I expect to find a few small bone fragments but these are currently measuring over 2 inches. I've found a number of intact spines, it is like something out of a horror movie. I have this little ritual four times a day of fishing out spines and bones. I even horridly found a complete tentacle in a squid flavour. It turns my stomach.
Has anyone else had issues with bones?

I've been using the Hi-life Essentials just recently as it was the only food Flirty would eat. I've not seen anything like that in it, but it maybe a different one to the one you're using.

Rarely feed Hi-Life but only the chicken & not had any problems with it so not much help - I would report it to them & see what they say - quoting the batch number etc. references They may have had a processing issue which they aren't aware off. Dpn't use all the pouches so you can sand them a sample if they ask.
Good luck.
