Jessie99 we are going to start bikejoring this summer, to get barley more active and to build his stamina up but he would be running ahead of me pulling the bike and me,once we know that he likes it we are going to invest in a proper running line and bike attatchment and proper belt for me for when we run, we have more time to run in the summer

I discovered that Bernie does not like harnesses and I too am looking down the Martingale route as Bernie get's very bothered by anything too tight fitting. He doesn't really pull and is very good at walking by my side so the Martingale would always sit loosely on him Kumfi do a martingale style collar = they call it action collar. It comes in 'slip-on' version, or with a snap clip like a standard collar. I have used a few of their products and like them very much. Prices are reasonable too. kumfi.com/index.php/onlien-store

My hoddy slipped out of her collar by a busy road at 6 months old and got hit by a car. Aside from a couple of grazes, she was fine. The vet said it was a miracle that she walked away almost unharmed, given the speed of the car that hit her. For that reason, I walk my pup lancelot on a harness whilst he gets used to traffic.

As most people have been saying, dogs can slip out of harnesses almost as easily as they slip out of collars. Finn has a Perfect Fit harness from dog-games-shop.co.uk as collars aggravate his throat and make him cough. The trouble with Finn is that he's so weirdly proportioned... He has a very deep chest, but is really slim - it's almost impossible to find a harness that fits him well. We chose this one because you buy the parts you need for YOUR dog... for example, most of the pieces of his harness are large, but one is medium because he's such a slim build.
