Hope all goes well for Beau tomorrow, scallywag. Not much point in telling you not to worry, of course you will - we all do when our pets are at the vets. Just don't worry too much.

My poor boy is home, they made a tidy job of it, 6 inches long he has been sick 3 times already, guess he is not good with the anaesthetic as this happened when he had his x-rays

Glad he is home safe and sound even if he is being sick a little, hope that the sickness passes very quickly. Poor wee guy. Have no doubt whatsoever he is being spoiled rotten and has every comfort he could wish for in his recovery. I was gonna say even before I read your post that his incision looks very neat, they did a good job. Wishing him a speedy recovery and hope you manage to get some sleep soon scally. Let us know how he gets on with the buster, how long has he to keep it on for? X

Thanks McCuddles, he has to keep it on for 2 weeks till the stitches come out. Its all changed since my previous Springer had his done, this time we now have to put ice packs on and, massage the area 3 times a day, starting with his toes and working up, that should be fun, me thinks I am not going to even try this today, poor guy, let him have one days rest from being mawled, will start it tomorrow please don't tell me off vonnie
