So... My man gave Carlotta some Bozita cat food two days ago now for breakfast, which she quickly vomited up all over the flat including in my bed. Clearly she is a cat who once she has gone raw, has completely lost all tolerance for whatever the thing in cat food was that she can't handle. This wouldn't really be a bad thing, my man has learned his lesson, except she has gone off her food big time now. So two days ago, after the vomiting incident, I fed her a raw complete food (it's kind of a mush of meat, organs and bone and she seems to love it) as soon as I got home from work. She wouldn't come to her usual feeding place to get it, in fact she wouldn't leave the couch or move at all, so I fed her on the couch and she happily ate the food all up. Since then. She hasn't eaten at all. My man put some Bozita down today saying that at least that way she'd eat something (don't worry, he got told off for this) but she didn't even touch that either. I'm sitting next to her now and can hear her stomach making noises, but she just won't eat. Could she have associated her vomiting right after eating with food? Or maybe her horrible teeth are causing her pain? Or maybe she's just still feeling a bit ill? The weather has changed recently to rain, maybe it's that, I know these things can affect her haha. My man says to wait till Monday to go to the vets, not that I trust them anyway. Is there any way I can encourage her to eat something? I know I am always posting about Carlotta's problems with foods and how she can go from a normally fairly healthy cat to looking like she's on her deathbed within a few days, and she usually recovers mysteriously after it, so you're probably all bored of it haha. She's my little angel though and I worry for her so much, Rosa and Mieze are tough, they could handle anything, but Carlotta is so delicate and sickly. I thought we were finally getting past her food problems now that she's on raw, so annoyed at my man for feeding the wrong thing haha but I suppose he wasn't to know. It's horrible seeing her like this, she won't even come through to sleep on the bed with us (it's been nice having Mieze there instead but feels wrong, and if you accidentally shove Mieze out the way while rolling over, you're in serious danger of being double slapped, claws out), she just stays on the couch all day and night. She's not even used the litter tray since yesterday morning although since she's not eaten or drank it's no wonder. Wasn't gonna post as I know I post pretty much this same thing a lot haha, but my man keeps saying it's normal and won't let me panic at him haha. And for goodness sake, just as I'm about to get up and do stuff, she finally moved from her perch on the arm of the couch to snuggle up with me. I knew I never should have sat next to her haha, how am I meant to get up now?

You can't.....not once they lie on you Mine, past and present, seem to choose the moments when I need to go to the loo or have something cooking in the oven Has she got bad teeth? They could be affecting her wanting to eat One of our previous fosters, Domino, had a mouth full of infected teeth and the vet had to remove all except her four 'fangs' and once the anaesthetic was out of her system that old lady could eat for England!!! May be worth getting the vet to have a look just in case there's a sore spot somewhere in there
