Great photo spider. As to flea treatments, I don't know if there is a season but mine get it all year round as they are outdoor cats in an area where there's plenty of wildlife as well as dogs & cats.

Roman & Osiris are using the summer house for shade, sometimes Lexie will join them but she tends to use the conservatory on a chair seat so that the back shades her from the sun!

What a gorgeous photo of Moonbeam. He's such a big handsome boy - how much does he weigh spider? Typical cat, they know you are looking for them and even if you call them they will wait until you find them!

I'm gutted - just made appointment for Kiba-Khan at the vets and found out that my favourite vet Darius has left the practice and gone back to Lithuania. I've often said that as long as Darius was at that practice I would stay there. I am tempted now to move to a practice that opened about 4 years ago (many people have recommend the vet there) and it actually has a car park. I've made an appointment for Friday at my usual vet's second branch as the nearer one is fully booked. I hope I don't get the vet I had just before Christmas who was standing in for Darius. I asked her to give Kali a worming tablet and she made such a mess of it that the coating came off the tablet and poor Kali, who is very easy going, was drooling and frothing at the mouth. Kiba-Khan has a problem with his eyes and I've now used up all the antibiotic drops and he still has weepy eyes. He's not in the best of moods either, so look out vet on Friday!

Well I did go back BUT I had bandage removed and a new one put on cause it was Easter and I wasn't taking any chances as they were closed over Easter, I went back on the Tuesday and saw my own vet Had a full examination again with the bandage removed, and was sent packing AND NO CONSULTATION FEE .

The vet I took Kiba-Khan to was lovely and she explained everything so well. She said she'd never seen such a well behaved cat - he was an angel! I have different antibiotic eye drops, some different drops for dry eyes and some Metacam. She said his eyelids are inflamed on his right eye and his lashes have been irritating his eye.

Kiba-Khan had lots of treats for being such a good boy at the vets. He was okay the first day he had Metacam but the second day he was sick so that was a waste of money. I have never known him be sick before a nd he's 12! No improvement with his eye yet.
