Right here we go:- For anyone who doesn't know whats going on, you have now entered the imaginary world of my future Pet shop dream. Yes when I finally win the lottery I plan to run my own pet shop, I would also like it to have a doggy day care section, maybe where people could drop off their doggys while they do the shopping. We would selling healthy foods and treats and only sell rescue animals that can not be bought until a home check has been carried out. It started on another thread and has now come here to a brand new thread all of its own. So read on as I will copy what we have so far from the other thread.

Right this is what we have so far:- My shop so I'm in charge but I'm a nice and friendly boss so you can relax and have a laugh...... As long as you do you job that is!?!?! Caz, phiney69 and petitsfilous and their dogs are the meet and greet for all the customers. And they will be on hand to help people make the right choices for the food and treats. We will only promote healthy foods, treats and trusted toys. And talking of toys puppypal & Barley will be chief toy tester and will also be entertaining visitors in the store with tricks. charlottte is going to be our head grooming, she may need assistants so watch this space. And vonnie is in charge of the bird section, making sure they are all happy and carrying out home checks on people who want to rehome a bird from us. If I have left anyone out from the other thread than please let me know and if you think my shop could do with your skills then please apply within.

If you would like a nutritional and healt advisor then I would love to apply for that! By the time you win the lotto I should be finished uni with hopefully either a bachalors degree in veterinatry medicine or nursing. And finished an animal nutrition degree too!
I can also enlist the help of some great horses and ponies if you want to have an equestrian section!

Awesome Gladys we are up and running! The best bit about this dream shop is that it's never ending, we will never run out of space as we will be the best pet place in the world and animal rescue charities will be glad to help fund expansions if we use them as sponsors etc. There will be an unlimited amount of staff as we will all need time off occasionally so there will be loads to cover and it's better to have lots of people good in one area than not enough. New products are developed every day so we will have a continuous flow of varied stock. And pigs will fly before the world runs out of rescue animals of all shapes and sizes needing their forever homes...
Can I help puppypal in her trick section too, teaching customers how to use clickers and other positive reinforcement training with their creatures. Maybe I could run mini workshops for the kids and their parents in the holidays in our store. Then puppypal can refine their skills and get them up to show quality? : ) xxx

Cool, gladys!!!! I'd be the shelf filler - however, I would need a partner in crime to reach the top shelves for me lol! I would also be happy to advise customers how to use products, and what products would be sutuible for that person's dog ect. I wouldn't do the clickers because that's for PP and phiney! We could all bring our dogs in and give them a big cusiony bed behind the counter that they can share!

Wow this shop is busting at the foundations with staff and their dogs, lets hope we get some customers soon??? Right petitsfilous my hubby will design the website and then you can sort the Raw feed online shop. Guess we might need a deliveryn driver?? If an animal needs rescuing and we have the space we will help it. Make sure it's healthy then find it a lovely new home. bextull - You can start now, this shop is so amazing you can get your degree while you work. phiney69 - Yes click away, show the customers the wonders of clicker training. I'll buy some more to stock up the shelfs. BorderTerrier - I think you would make a great shelf filler, do you have a tall friend to help you?? Ooh I'm 6'1 so I'll help after I've finished this paper work. Jademoo - Sounds great, you can help people with the best equipment to use and let me know if someone wants something that isn't in stock and I'll order it for the next delivery.

BT you are more than welcome to join our clicker happy group once the shelves are sorted. : ) PF a website would be great, the more positive promotions we can do the better. We could have stands at shows etc too so they would need running if anyone has some spare time? People to design leaflets advertising the shop and covering some basic training/dietary/general health stuff. We would definitely be selling our YD mags, but could also make up our own shop mag to with a section in it for kids that is fun but also teaches responsible pet ownership etc? I could go on forever lol. Xxx

No problem Gladys, we'll be there bright and early, promotion or not. ; ) We can have some of our furries and other pets doing displays in the ring or just by the stall for a meet and greet of different breeds etc. We will also need a cpl of staff with free samples of food and some info on them and a competition of some sort to win some of our great new toys and training aids. : ) xxx

Ooh, and a photo competition could be held in the weeks running up to our fetes and fairs and we could get the winners pictures blown up big and put on display around the stall and they could win lovely canvasses etc done of their prize pics. I'm sure Pawsforthought and Avansa could run it. I'm going to be quiet for a bit now to let the others get their creative juices flowing. Lol. ; ) xxx
