Hi simba is an indoor cat, as its coming up to the summer well if we have nice weather again i want to open the windows, we are on first floor, think its pvc or double glazed windows. i have read that someone used willow trellis, we wouldnt be able to drill the holes as its not our place. it looks very confusing to fix to the windows. lol just looking at the options we have and prices we are on low budget.

Zooplus have netting & I found this site which seems just what you're looking for as no permanent fixings required www.flat-cats.co.uk/No personal experience of any of these. Hope others may have.

our cat is indoor too, what we've done is, in our small windows we have used chicken wire cut that it sits inside the opening so no need to screw or nail, munchkin is not showing any sign of trying to jump out of the windows, we wouldn't leave windows open if we wasn't at home, we leave curtains closed and windows on catches, that seems to keep her cool, hope this helps

I live on the 2nd floor so don't really have this problem as my boy will just sit by an open window and look out as they are never opened to wide due to the fact I also have a bird.
