Good luck with your new computer scallywag - get the tablets ready or a good drink, you'll need one or the other after playing with Windows 10 for the first time! Got delayed by IT guy not arriving till Wednesday now , after waiting in most of the day for the courier still, it gives me chance to delete stuff I dont need so the transfer over gies quicker. Loved the photos of the cat show and the beautiful Blackberry x

Just hope your next few days aren't as bad as mine today scallywag. Microsoft partially to blame but mainly me. One bonus I'm definitely more familiar with Windows 10 now although still cursing the sensitivity of the laptop's keyboard. I made myself porridge in the microwave today - done it many times. Whilst that was having it's 2nd cook (after stirring) I opened Microsoft Excel (office 365) & discovered that the licence had expired - I'd interpreted the warning of by 27.1.19 as when it finishes not when it starts! I was actually going to follow the renew links to find out how much it was at Microsoft compared to Amazon. Oh well bought new licence from Amazon & then tried to put into Excel only to find that I couldn't remember my Microsoft account password! I don't work online just on the PC so don't use it often. So had to reset it, activated the new licence but Excel wouldn't recognise it. Took me ages to resolve. While still trying to work it out I sent to get my porridge and landed up having to clean the microwave as it had boiled over or exploded over not sure which but the outside of the bowl & the floor of the microwave were covered in milk & oats I know I like thick porridge but what was left in the bowl was even a bit too thick for me After that I took a guess at what was wrong with Office & specifically logged out of it on my laptop & the back in again & that resolved that issue - even though I was logged into Microsoft with the new password Office didn't recognise that!! Got on with doing my tax return & in checking some figures I'd input to Excel found I had to redo some of it as I'd definitely put in some odd values. So after amending the tax return I printed off some changed pages & wanted to destroy the old ones - I still can't find one page. I know I printed it today as I compared it with last year's paperwork as it didn't seem familiar. I've checked ever filing folder/box, under the table , other rooms, the printer and anywhere else. The only place I haven't checked is the tumble drier as I did put some washing in that earlier but ...... Now all I've got to do is submit the tax return & then pay HMRC what I owe them That can wait for tomorrow, I think a G&T is on the cards for tonight along with cat cuddling, Lexie has been most put out that she (or the others) hasn't been allowed in the dining room - I was using the table & paperwork, computers etc. don't go together with cats, besides sending them flying or siting on the page you want, walking over the keyboard doesn't do wonders for accuracy of input. She was very vocal outside the door!

Self assessment tax returns combined with Windows 10 and cooking porridge certainly don't mix!! I hope you've got it all sorted out now tonib.

I cant get onto sherv.net anyone else the same cazypops tonib who else uses them for their smilies ? I can't get in either scallywag although having searched the forum for sherv I can see the images are available still just not the actual site to find them. I was able to put the actual image details in to my browser & it displayed that OK so if you want to use ones you've used before just use search on the forum look for the word sherv & from your username that'll give you the posts you've used sherv in you can then get the link from the post.
