New Year new start after last years start being so awful with redundancy I just want no drama’s but I’m being headhunted by another company more money & closer to home only two drawbacks I currently finish at 4pm new job would be 5pm which isn’t so bad the biggest worry would be working for my best friend which I didn’t initially think was a problem but now another friend has put doubt in my mind by saying it will ruin our friendship 🤦🏻♀️ don’t know to do in between a rock & a hard place Stay where you are , I have had family come on board to learn my job so I could retire , I have had my sister also work for us , trust me IT IS VERY DIFFICULT. Plus you are 1 year down the road to get the 2 year employment mim , to get redundancy pay !! Thems my thoughts but you need to weigh it all up in your own mind Dianne xxx Wish you well with your soul searching HUGS xx

Had some random person lecture me today because SILLY liked to go outside. He was an outdoor cat before I got him, I couldn’t change that if I tried. Meanwhile, both Mikila and Avi are indoor cats with harnesses and leashes if they want to go out. But no, the fact that Silly wasn’t is the end of the world and now I’m a terrible cat owner because of that. I think spider and lotsofcats might have some harsh words to say about that mistyanna don’t take any notice x Haha, that’s alright. It’s in the past now anyway. I just don’t understand why they decided to lecture me on Silly being allowed out when none of my current cats are allowed.

I can understand you letting Silly out if he was already an outdoor cat before you got him. It's the same with my Toffee, he was a 2 year old stray when he turned up and he's still an outdoor cat now. My other 6 cats go in a large outdoor cat pen in the garden in the day and when they come back into the house Toffee sleeps in their pen for the night. I would love it if he decided to stay in so I wouldn't have to worry about him when he's out and about. Perhaps when he's older (he's 10 next week!) he will stop wandering and fighting. Very strange that a stranger lectured you about Silly - what's it to do with them?

Silly never stopped trying to fight the neighbours cats, so we made a schedule for letting them out. Silly thought he should be in charge, but they didn’t agree, and we didn’t want him getting hurt thinking he could take the younger Maine coons.

I definitely feel your pain scallywag . Had a new w10 laptop for just short of 2 years & have put off using it for a number of reasons:- - Not the biggest fan of the new operating system design - but I think that's just a case of getting used to it
- Don't like the way Microsoft are trying to force users to do what they want you to do & when (updates) and also so much they want you to be connected online to them - although there are ways I've found round this. Again this how the rest of the world is going forward I suspect I'm a bit of a dinosaur in this respect. I don't do social media or want to use internet banking on my phone etc. mind you Microsoft aren't the only one's trying to get you to use the app as opposed to PC browser access - even Starbucks who have had (& may still have - no checked) a problem with setting up auto top up on their web site (it used to work!) so advise you to use the app! No thank you! I don't trust phone security as much as I do a PC only used at home!
- Also the laptop has an integrated touch pad with the click buttons just positional as opposed to separate that is also very sensitive - again just a case of how designs change so I'm having to get used to it - I suppose! I did choose the laptop after careful consideration!
However as the hinges on my old laptop are almost none existent I'm having to move everything over - should have done it before Xmas before they got really bad but so far it surviving. I've got my email working both browser & offline storage & ported some files over so I can do my tax return - I know it should have been done much earlier in the year but as usual I found other things to do!!! I've taken a full backup of the old laptop so it's just a case of biting the bullet!! Oh & sorting out backing up the new laptop!! Oh & I'm having to check more spelling & mis-typing than before - due to sensitivity of the keyboard/touch pad!! Sorry folks for the rant!!

It’s come to my attention that no one can pronounce Mikila right on the first try. The vet called her “my-killah” last time 😂

I'm hoping I'm pronouncing it right - Mic eye lu (u as in up). Is that correct? It's a lovely name. My vets often pronounces Kiba-Khan wrong and say Kibba. Kiba is Japanese for fang.
