I went to visit my sister yesterday. I knew my son was coming to visit so told him we would be back by 6pm. We hadn't long left my sister's house (26 miles away) when my son phoned. He'd turned up earlier because he was having a meal at his house at 6pm. He said he'd gone upstairs to get his ironing (yes, I spoil him) and Kobi had followed him up and suddenly he heard a trickling sound.....Kobi peed on the landing carpet!! He's done this once before when he sneaked upstairs. When we got home we couldn't tell him off but he was a bit sheepish. My son always winds Kobi up and gets him overexcited. I could tell that Kobi had been jumping around after his ball as one armchair was up against the radiator. Naughty boys, both of them!

Theyβre very different I had guinea pigs for years, they are gorgeous. I was always amazed that when their babies were born their eyes are open, they can run around and they eat food straight away - they are just mini guinea pigs.

I saw a lovely sight on Sunday evening. It was just starting to get dark and I heard the distinctive sound of a duck quacking as it flew overhead. But when I looked up I was surprised to count 11 ducks flying in formation just like the Red Arrows. I wish I could have taken a photo of them.
My boss has just informed me that they were probably geese as they often fly in formation.

I always remember them as ducks in formation but I've just searched online& can find ducks in loose formation & geese/swans in a defined formation. I've no idea what happened to that picture so can't check & it was along time ago so memory could be playing tricks!

Hello! Just thought I'd pop in while I procrastinate my assignment. Hope everybody has been keeping well. I do try get on here for a bit of a look when I can but I'm back to working 3 jobs now so time is a bit tight to say the least! (think 1 job is gona have to go soon) Started my zookeeping course in September and just got back from a week of lectures in hampshire on friday. Was a good week, nice to meet other zookeepers and we won a pumpkin carving competition in the pub! I also got myself a vet nursing job too. So I'm now working in an emergency hospital based where I went to uni on the weekends. The travelling is a bit grim but the pay is good and the rota is flexible so I can work as needed. And the job fixed the issues I'd been having at home. Oscar's fine too. Not happy with the fireworks that keep going off every night but he's on a multitude of supplements to help with that (mixed results but they work to some extent).

Glad that you and Oscar are okay bextull. You are certainly busy with 3 jobs. I haven't heard any fireworks yet (touch wood). I'm lucky that my 7 cats and 1 dog are not too bothered by them.
