Pleased all went well for your Mum scallywag and hope that she continues to recover well at home.
Sadly little doglet is still the same but we know it's early days and hope that the new medication will start to take effect soon.
It has made me realise how lucky we are with our vet as he rang earlier today to see how she is. Apparently he is on annual leave from Friday and has asked us to contact him again before then to let him know how's she's getting on. How kind is that?!

HUGS to you both x He's a very nice person as well as being a good vet and it was he who diagnosed our old dog with SCI in 2015, started the treatment immediately and gave us an extra year with Kizzy.
To cut a very long story short little doglet was diagnosed with IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) when she was about eighteen months old. She has been perfectly well since January last year. Something has triggered an awful flare up resulting in diarrhoea which seems to improve with each new medication she is prescribed but goes back to square one within 24/ 36 hours. The major problem is that she is intolerant of most steroids and painkillers ( which exacerbate the problem ) . She has had several courses of different anti-biotics which can in themselves cause upset stomachs. She is definitely brighter in herself now (she spent most of last week either pooping or sleeping bless her) and is perpetually hungry partially due to the new steroids she is on and partially 'cos the food goes straight through her and thereby not being absorbed.
Again thank you for your good wishes.

How sad is it about the police officer Andrew Harper that was killed in Oxfordshire whilst investigating a burglary π’I donβt know what this world is coming too . He was due to go on his honeymoon next week- my heart goes out to all of his loved ones and his colleagues. Apparently he was was with another pc but not heard anything about him βΉοΈ

I've been away from home for a few weeks now, My mom has been taking care of the animals while I've been gone, but she says Mikila keeps doing this thing where she runs outside when the door is opened into the trees and disappears from anywhere between a few hours to overnight. She won't come back when called or when treats are offered, she comes back only when she sees fit. She never did this when I was home and I'm getting concerned because there is wildlife around and I don't want her to get hurt.

On the way to work this morning I popped into my local petrol station and part of it was cordoned off with the police there. During the night the ATM machine had been ripped out of the wall and stolen. This was not the first time as a couple of months ago it happened a few miles away where burglars used a JCB and a 4 x 4 vehicle to steal the ATM machine in a street.

Apparently people living nearby heard the noise and looking out of their window they could see 3 people dressed all in black. The police were called and turned up quickly, but not quick enough to catch them before they got away with the ATM.
