My neighbours (complete idiots by the way,I used to play with their son and ended up with a broken arm) got 2 cats probably about 8 or so years ago, they already had a dog,a little corgi/jrt mix I think called Fluffy even though the dog was no way fluffy. But thats beside the point .
Anyway my neighbours being the idiots they are got a male and a female cat and didn't neuter/spay them (morons)
Soon enough there was lots of miniature versions of these cats going around!! From what i remember they would feed 2 cans of dog food to the dog the 2 parent cats and I think 2 liters of kittens a day. They were never properly cared for.
Years later I have never seen the father cat and every once in a while you will see kittens running around but they never seem to hang around long .
The main point of the story is that the original female cat has been practically living in our cat house (our boys don't use it)and feeling bad for it I feed it every day or so,whenever i see her.
She isn't in the best shape and from what I see has no teeth but she is able to eat dry food ,she has very scabby ears and has always had 1/2 a tail, the neighbours said it got caught in the door.
No one in the family has had any contact with these neighbours in about 6 or more years and we don't want to. I think the cat is so adorable and just needs someone to love her. In an ideal world I would like to care for her fully and call her mine but my parents don't want any more pets.
If I were to tell the ISPCA about the cat or report my neighbours what would happen? They would probably deny owning the cat, would the ISPCA put her down? Despite having minimal human contact in years she is very friendly and even let me pet her today and kept following me (I was wearing gloves just in case). Here's a picture of her
I was hoping my parents might agree to pay for her to be spayed and to get her ears fixed as my birthday present but would that make her ours which is not what my parents want.I just really don't know what to do
