I was intrigued by this thread last time around so I am going to keep note of what I spend this month, I won't post here though as I know I will be useless at keeping it updated so will do it on a bit paper tacked to my fridge, how very high tech lol I have already made a conscious effort to spend less this month though as was a lil shocked at how much I spent last month, no wonder I'm always skint. But have food and boosters this month so not cheap, but perhaps no toys this month? Poor Dotty how will she cope Lol And also I must unsave (is that a word?!) my card details from amazon as that's probably my worst downfall, lying in bed and ordering dog stuff on my iPad lol. So far though am at £56 for insurance, health plan, wee treat bag and a replacement Colin Crow toy

This month will be much less for me. Only one show to travel to and I'm stocked up on enough wet food to last a month. Just dry food and poochpack to pay for, oh and the dragons bugs. I'm just adding it onto my already existing post for last month.

this month is not going to be so good as September, its only 9th & we're already 4/5th of last months total & there will probably be a larger online order to come (close to month end though so not sure which month it will go in. Mind you next month will include a stay in the cattery - ouch!)

Guys, if I have an insurance claim, do I count the excess only, or the full amount. For the minute we have paid up front, but hoping it will be covered by the insurance!
You're all going to keel over when I put it up!

I put the full amount up to show the reality of a couple of days care. Thank The Lord for insurance

I'd say its totally up to u but I'm updating what I'm spending so I'd put up what I paid out then when the refund comes then take that off. I haven't updated mines this week. Friend bought me some bits from cash and carry today and I know I gave her £80 and think I'm due about £20 change if I'm lucky.

That makes sense teegiebear. Not sure when we'll get the refund but the forms are all filled in.
Ouch! Hopefully you got your money's worth!

Mine is considerably lower this month! I did think it would be, hardly bought anything for the dogs or rabbits this month because I bought so much last month.

I think this thread started wrong months for me Lots of vets last month, this month and there will be another late October/early November!! That's abnormal for my monsters!! Hard to judge what I spend food wise unless its dog specific food as the rest we share (e.g bought some pork chops, I have some and the dogs have some!! lol) That's why I am putting a guesstimated amount + anything I buy in a month so its sort of over-estimating cost of feeding them.
