Poor Wilf - I hope the antibiotics are working their magic and he is starting to feel much better.

An update on Wilf, the medicine seems to be doing the trick. He temperature has come down and he's a bit more lively, but he's not going far which is very unlike him. The lump is still there, but feels much smaller. The antibiotics have to be crushed and hidden in cat milk, but he hasn't complained once, just lapped it all up. The Metacam is another story. I squirt it in, he spits it out. I couldn't figure out why I could smell it on Saturday night until Pete pointed out my hair was all stiff. Oh yeah, he did kind of sneeze when I squirted.
Back to the vets tomorrow for another check up. Bill is currently £85 but I don't know whether to claim on the insurance or not, I'll see how much more it goes up tomorrow.

So pleased that Wilf is improving. Funny that you had Metacam in your hair! if I remember it smells quite horrible? With the insurance I suppose it depends on your excess - mine is £50. I claimed for Toffee when his treatment came to £90.

I'm glad Wilf is feeling better. I'd never heard of someone who colours her hair with metacam.

Glad Wilf is improving, shame he thinks your hair needs the anti-inflammatory treatment more than he does We put Penny's daily Metacam/Loxicom on a teaspoon of Applaws/Encore & it goes down a treat!! As its not to be given on an empty stomach she gets it after shes's had some of her dried in the evening, it's usually fish one do she doesn't smell it so much.
