This is Ben... He is my 5th foster cat from Cats protection. I picked him up yesterday, just before he was due to be euthanised! He had be brought into the vets by a member of the public 7 days ago, and if a cat isnt claimed in that time and there are no vacancies in rescues, then the poor things are pts. I got him just in time! Its thought that he has always been a stray, and is quite old (he doesnt have many teeth!) He was so matted that the vets shaved off most of his fur. He has dreadful dandruff and is very dirty. Ive now de-flead and wormed him, and cleaned his eyes and given him a good brushing - which he seems to really like He needs to be neutered and vaccinated, and given a general wash, but i need to talk to the vets about that! So he is going to be with me for a while, but over all, at the moment he seems like a real gentleman I can see myself becoming very attached to this one!

Oh, bless him. Saved just in time. If only he could talk, I think he could tell us some stories judging by the state of those ears. He looks a tough little character - I really like him.

Great that you got him in time. I like him very much. I'm fond of black. No lack of food I see.

He looks adorable. Some TLC and a good cuddle and food and he'll make himself right at home.

Well done in fostering him in the nick of time. Sounds like he really appreciates it. He doesn't look old, our Penny had load a lot of her teeth by the time we got her at 8 years old, he's definitely seen a lot but those eyes are not those of an old cat

Well done for getting to him just in time, poor boy, he is a beauty though and will be a gorgeous looking boy once you have got him back to good health and once his fur has grown again and he is groomed he will be like a different cat, it will be lovely to see him after all your hard work in a few months time.
