Poor Mortimer this morning had to shout for help. I heard a strange miaow and when I went to check who had made it I found Mortimer sitting on the top platform of the cat post whilst his right front leg was completely twisted upside down on the underside of the platform with his dewclaw caught in the material on the underside of the platform. He was sitting there quite patiently and waited for me to put Supercat who was having a snuggle at the time back in his bed before I came to disentangle him. He was quite calm whilst I twisted his leg about to extract his claw from the material - he has done this before and didn't panic then either - I don't know how he does it - he's the only one who does.
