I found my beautiful cuddly boy dead in their run earlier today. After all that happened with him being chased by a dog last week, I was so grateful to still have him, yet earlier this evening I went to put him and Ailsa away and he was gone, and Ailsa was grooming him. I don't know what happened, he was young, fit and healthy, fully vaccinated recently, infact, so recently I haven't even had the invoice from the vet yet. I don't know if perhaps he had a heart attack. He was still warm when I found him, so it hadn't been long. Ailsa is quiet, I've had to put her back into the shed on her own, I feel so bad for her, as well as missing Harris myself. He was the only one who loved me for me, not just as the food provider, he loved to be cuddled. Oh Sarah, so sorry to hear what happened. Losing a pet is not a happy occurrence at an time but especially sad when it is so unexpected and at such a young age. Hope Ailsa and you can share your grief and give each other the support you need. RIP Harris Enjoy yourself at Rainbow Bridge with the other friends especially the ones from the forum.

I just wanted to let you know that I made it home. The journey wasn't an easy one, but it didn't take too long.
Everything is so pretty here, so white, so fresh and new I wish that you could close your eyes and that you could see it too.
Please try not to be sad for me. Try to understand God is taking care of me... I'm in the shelter of His hands.
Here there is no sadness, no sorrow, and no pain. Here there is no crying and I'll never hurt again.
Here it is so peaceful when all the angels sing. I really have to go for now... I've just got to try my wings.

Thanks all, means a lot.
I feel so sorry for Ailsa. I don't want another rabbit, but I don't want her to be alone either. I don't know what to do.

Can she be introduced to one of you other rabbits? Or at least put near another, so they share the wire to their runs??

So sad for you - what a shock. Taken far too young, bless him.
RIP Harris
