Mittens . We adopted her from Leigh cats and Dogs home on the 27th August, shes a 6 year old domestic shorthair. She has settled in well, as soon as we got her home she was straight out of the carrier investigating. She was actually brought to leigh twice, once because her original owners landlord didn't allow pets and when she got adopted again she came back two days later because she was scratching their carpet . Shes here to stay now though. Despite being 6 she definitely still has a kitten brain and is very playful and cheeky . She is going to be staying as an indoor cat, mainly because that's what shes been used to according to her history (which may be inaccurate as is always the risk with rescues) and there is a main road very near us so don't want to risk it. She has already been bought plenty of toys, a scratching post and we want to invest in a tower at some point for her too. She has been microchipped and neutered and had her 2nd lot of Vaccs done the day after we got her. Anyway after that big info dump heres some pics, I think shes very pretty myself (but I am biased ) 20190827_143716 by devonwigzell, on Flickr 20190829_193149 by devonwigzell, on Flickr 20190829_193116 by devonwigzell, on Flickr 20190901_120117 by devonwigzell, on Flickr 20190905_103047 by devonwigzell, on Flickr

She looks adorable. How does she get on with Samson and Mario? I don't live with samson and mario anymore, they live with my parents and I live with my friend now so its just her here . She would'nt be able to be with a dog and another cat anyway, she hates them both. Shes definitely a people cat.

Aww what a lovey addition to your household boxerluver30, a tuxedo cat that last picture reminds me of our tuxedo Penny who used to have that same splayed back legs & boxing front paws pose even when she was 16!

She is a little diva, definitely likes everything her way (and shes cute enough to get away with it!). I'm used to boys in both cats and dogs so a learning curve for me!

I feel like that was more of an excuse because they couldnt be arsed to be honest. Given appropriate outlets like scratching posts its a problem thats usually so easily solved. Really annoys me too when people give animals up so easily.
