So pleased keep up the good work Alfie ๐you are doing great x He's doing well still hates the nebuliser but since that bad night he had there's been no nose bleed, he's only back on the antibiotics cos his nose is crusty. We'll find out after the 27th about his cushings.

Update....
Alf is still on his nebuliser for another 9 or 10 days. HE went to the vets for his blood pressure it's about 180 it should be 140. He also had his bloods taken and the results came out that he is doing ok but vet wants to see him as he is still always hungry and his stomach is showing he might need to be upped. We took him to have his booster, vet said his liver is slightly swollen (which is apparently normal when they have cushings) apart from that she said alf is doing really well considering his hips and spine problem. She also said the tramadol and his boots are helping him really well.
When we found out about his spine we was told alf would go down hill rapidly, he has proven the vet wrong. It just shows alf being head strong is doing him.

Some good news for you and Alf. Yeah. His trilostane has been upped slightly he's on trial for 2 weeks to see how he is doing, if its work he will have to have another blood test 4 weeks from the start date.

Update...
All of Alfie's blood pressure and blood tests has been cancelled all we can do is keep a close eye on him. If we think there is a problem all we can do is speak to the vet on the phone, if he goes down hill like he did last year all we can do is rush him in as an emergency. I'm really concerned that we can't take care of him like I used to. I am hoping that he will be ok at this time but as soon as the vets open for normal business he will be in to have all that needs doing.

Poor Alfie - but likely you say you can only keep a close eye on him and if he starts to deteriorate you will have to contact your vet x
