I hope Alfie's bloods improve. At least he is eating something, bless him. No they didn't. He has eaten his tea for the first time since Friday. Alf is so much better today ( thank god) The vetoryl dropped his electrolytes thats what made him so poorly. He's back in on Thursday having the same blood test done. We're not sure if he is going on a lower dose of vetoryl yet. Lotsofcats everything we do for our animals is out of love and your story is sad I'm so glad you managed to get another 2 years with your pet

His bloods has come back normal today. Alf wont be going back on the vetoryl unless we start seeing any signs. It's so nice to see to have my boy back. It was so horrible to see him so poorly. Alf is back in on Wednesday to see if he can come off the blood pressure tablets now. My vet is contacting the company that make vetoryl as they caused his nose bleeds.

Alfie's blood pressure is sky high vets are concerned plus he is showing signs of cushings. He's drinking so much at the minute and eating so well ( the total opposite to how he was when he was poorly)
He had his bloods done and their not showing cushings but his behaviour is so at the minute I am having to write down his water in take and I'll be speaking to the vets on monday and see what they say

Oh no scruffsmaz, just when things seemed on the up for Alfie. Fingers crossed the vets, on Monday, can get to the bottom of this apparent discrepancy between the bloods & the behaviour and get his blood pressure back down again.

I'm still waiting to see what the vets are going to do. He's back in on the 7th for more blood tests (poor lad) the nose bleeds have total stopped the vetoryl was doing that to him. Alf is so fed up with all the blood test and I don't blame him but i know its for his best interest.

Poor Alfie. Hopefully the bloods on the 7th will show an improvement. Give him lots and lots of love. I wouldn't like to see your vet bill. We've spent about 19 thousand on him so far in the last 4 years, luckily he's insured and my insurance are good with paying. Alf will be having 3 blood tests over 8 hours so my day is in and out of the vets all day. I'm lucky alf is easy going and loves the ladies especially 1 certain vet. I might find out on friday/ Saturday the results. Just good job I love him to bits and I know alot of people would of given up on him years ago but I can't do that, i do wonder how many of his brother and sisters are still here.

Ouch I thought us spending 13,000 on Tobi was high that was over 1 year . What insurance co do you use ? I never had insurance but he did have a bank account of his own. Hope all goes well bless him x
