Aye guess who it is. Here for my annual check in before disappearing for god knows how long again
I swear I always try to stay in touch here, but you know how hectic life can get lol.
Anyway, today I had such a fab day with Milo, and just had to share here! I was out last weekend and bumped into Milo's biological parents' owner. We got to chatting and decided to meet up with the dogs. Well today was the day and I can't believe how well it went. As most of you know Milo has issues with other dogs. So we went with the muzzle in tow just in case. His ma was a bit grumpy (she really doesn't like her own pups very much, shes the same with Milo's brothers lol). So she stayed inside. His dad on the other hand adored him. And Milo felt the same way. They were all over eachother.
Milo was very relaxed the whole time, even allowing Harry (his dad) to lick at his ears to his hearts content. Which is even sweeter considering the only other dog he does that too is Milo's mum!
I kept his muzzle on, as it's not worth the risk taking it off. And they had a fab time playing and sniffing in the garden together. Milo was rubbing himself all over Harry, the same way he does with people when he wants some fuss. It was all very sweet and I have to be honest, its given me a whole lot more confidence with introducing my boy to other dogs. I think now I'll deffo try him with a few of the dogs I walk as he really enjoyed being around Harry today.
I've sent just about everyone I know the pictures and the good news. But of course no one understands better than you lot on how big of an accomplishment this is, with a dog who at one point couldn't walk past another dog without lunging and screaming bloody murder
And now for the photies!

Also, for a lucky bonus. The owners of Milo's parents commented on how obedient he was. As he had the whole house to roam around but stayed seated at my side. Only roaming occasionally but never leaving the room I was in. I was just thinking to myself, 'if only they saw him at home on the daily, being a little terror'
