I would say being stabbed in the arm with a pen causing a cut or getting hit in the head with a cricket ball during a cricket match.

Mine happened in July 1994. I was staying at a friend's house in the depths of Northumberland and we decided to go for a walk in the Ingram Valley. I had my jack russell terrier Buster with me at the time and we had a great day walking along the river and climbing up onto the top of one of the surrounding hills. As we started walking down the hill Buster was bouncing around ahead of us and I decided to race him down the hill. Only got a few yards when I went over on my right foot and it felt like I'd broken my ankle!!! I had to THROW myself to the ground to stop gravity from keeping me going downhill. After a few moments I tentatively got up and managed to hobble down the rest of the hill. I thought it was just a little twist and nothing serious and when I got back home that evening I lay on the sofa with my ankle raised whilst watching tv. Come bedtime I swung myself off the sofa and the pain just shot through me!!!! My whole foot was bright purple along the base of my toes the next morning and up like a pudding Still managed to hobble to work the next day and a workmate diagnosed it as a sprain. Took months to fully heal I felt SUCH a numpty knackering up my ankle in such a silly way
