lotsofcats is it possible that she is ferrel like spider 's cats are, and she knows what a food pouch is coz the other firm near you is feeding her, and so she didn't bolt as she now associates humans with food? Just a thought.

I spoke to the man from the pet rescue that has Silver and he said if we ever caught the mother cat they would be willing to find a home for her. He said Silver was sat on his lap and purring as we spoke. If I did manage to catch her I would contact the firm up the road first to see if they think it's the best idea. I don't think an engineering company is a safe environment for a cat.
I will put some food out for tonight to see if the cat still wanders over here.

An update on the kittens. The 4 the CPL trapped are still with them but they are now tame and will be up for adoption very soon. I will put a link up when they are advertised. I put cat food and milk out under our old van every evening ouside work and it's all gone by the morning but I never get to see the mother cat. I'm hoping it's the mother cat that's having the food. The dishes are licked clean and not knocked over so I don't think that rats are having it. I tried getting to speak to someone from the company up the road to see if they are still feeding the mother but nobody rang me back. The next time the boys are working in the workshop Gareth is going to pop up there and ask. I haven't been able to speak to the rescue centre about Silver the kitten, I have tried 4 times recently but they are not answering the phone. I will keep trying.

The man from the animal rescue called Socelex called in today and gave me a copy of their 2019 Newsletter, which had Silver's story in it and some pics. He is doing well but still at the farm where Socelex is based. I think it looks like they are keeping him for now. He's a lovely looking kitten. The man was on his way down the canal to rescue a duck with wire around it. Thank goodness it's been a nice day for him the walk the canal. Goodness knows what happened with the black kittens that the Cats Protection League had as I've never seen them on their website up for adoption. They would be 4/5 months old now.

Nice of him to let you know how Silver was doing lotsofcats, shame you can't find out about the others with CP.
